ACTIVITIES AT THE RESTAURANT
Sugar
Bush Season in the Maple Country.
The Charles restaurant has been involved in the maple sugar
festivities for more than 15 years .
As a participant in the Maple Sugar Festival of the Beauce
region, we feature Canadian-style breakfasts with an all
you can eat crepes, and musicians that will entertain you
by playing the accordion as you enjoy your meal. You will
appreciate the decor that will be appropriate for the maple
season and will find official festival shirts and maple
sugar products for sale.
You may also reserve to visit many sugar shacks. We have
listed a few examples below. Sugar bush season is from March
15th to the end of April. Of course, it may vary depending
on Mother Nature.
Fruits and vegetables
From June to October, on our summer menu, we suggest entrees
and desserts filled with seasonal fruits and vegetables,
exquisitely prepared. During this season, you will be able
to sample, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pumpkins,
apples, fiddleheads, and corn on the cob all from our region.
Painting
expositions
During the past 12 years, our local artists have exhibited
their painting, pictures and sculptures in our three dinning
rooms.
